Hollyscoop is reporting Mel Gibson attacked a fan and now is being charged with battery.

Mel and his pregnant girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, were at the new hotspot Playhouse when a fun evening turned nasty. Apparently, a Life & Style reporter posing as a fan tried to get a pic of Mel and Oksana but his security team jumped in and deleted the pic. After that, the reporter sent her friend in for another pic and Mel freaked out and ripped his shirt.

Another clubgoer has said that the man that was attacked went to the police station to file a battery report against Gibson.
