Amy Winehouse’s ex looking for big payday?

winehouseblakeAmy Winehouse’s soon-to-be-ex-husband is looking to walk away a multi-millionaire. Blake Fielder-Civil was given a decree nisi, which is a preliminary stage of divorce, on Thursday, and now he wants a nearly $10 million payoff.

Fielder-Civil insists he is entitled to the money because he inspired much of Winehouse’s hit 2006 album “Back to Black.”

The couple wed in May 2007 and Winehouse wrote the songs after her first split from Fielder-Civil, a break-up caused by him cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend. Of course, Winehouse admitted in court papers that she returned the favor during their marriage.

A source said: “Amy did write ‘Back to Black’ when Blake left her, but why on earth should he be getting a dime for making her feel so bad?

“She was at her lowest ebb when she wrote that album. It’s like saying that the man who writes a book about his murdered wife should give the murderer some of the profits. It’s an absolutely ridiculous request.”

The singer is reportedly pissed at the demand, made in private.

A source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “Amy’s distraught because she doesn’t think Blake will go quietly. Blake’s family don’t want him to ask for money but he hasn’t given up on a hefty pay day.

“Amy is furious and doesn’t want to negotiate. But she’s happy for his outrageous demands to be made public because she wants to show him up.”
