Ah, the plot thickens. The offices of Michael Jackson’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray were raided by the Drug Enforcement Agency today as part of their ongoing investigation into the pop star’s death.
With search warrant in hand, a fleet of vehicles carrying more than 20 officers descended on Murray’s offices at the Armstrong Medical Clinic in Houston, Texas. They arrived around 11 a.m. local time along with two Los Angeles police officers and several local cops.
They were reportedly set to seize all documents relating to Murray’s treatment of Jackson, including medical notes, details of any drugs he was taking, and records of prescriptions Murray handed out to the star.
Members of the Jackson family have cried “foul play” and urged an investigation of Murray’s involvement in the star’s death last month.
Murray was with Jackson when he went into cardiac arrest at his rented home in Los Angeles on June 25 and performed CPR on the star before emergency crews arrived.

David Beckham has hired a private island to celebrate his tenth wedding anniversary with wife Victoria.
He has planned a romantic trip to Sir Richard Branson’s exclusive Necker Island, which is one of the world’s most luxurious resorts.
A source said: “David has pulled in a few favors. He has bought Victoria a lot of other gifts to mark the occasion but the big surprise is the holiday to Necker.

So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva has been arrested on rape charges.
E! Online reports that Da Silva was arrested in his North Hollywood home and charged with eight felony counts in relation to four of his dance students. Apparently, the assaults occurred between August 2002 and March 2009 and involved several of his students ages 20 to 26. He is currently held under $6.2 million bail and could face life in prison if convicted.

AlaskaReport.com is reporting that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is set to divorce her husband, Todd.
According to the site, multiple sources in Wasilla and Anchorage, including a former Palin staffer, have confirmed the split.
The Palins weren’t speaking during Sarah’s resignation speech last week. Photos have Sarah without her wedding ring as far back as two weeks ago.
Sarah recently purchased land in Montana and is considering moving the family there. She’s got an $11 million book deal and yet Todd told Fox News last week that he plans to head back to his job in the oil fields of Alaska.
Hmm. A messy divorce won’t look too pretty for any kind of election run in 2012, Sarah. So maybe she’ll find a way to keep the marriage ticking.
In case the image of minks getting anally electrocuted wasn’t enough of a turn off, Pink has found a new way to swear people off wearing fur.
The “Sober” singer, an outspoken animal rights activist, believes the only way to stop celebrities wearing animal skins is to call them fat.
“The whole animal welfare and cruelty side of wearing fur is clearly not working because some people still insist on wearing it,” said Pink
“So I think we should have a new campaign with the message – fur makes you look fat. That is probably the only thing these people care about so let’s go for that. You look terrible in that. It makes you gain 15 or 20 lbs. That will do the trick.”
Pink is a strict vegetarian and staunch supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

If Paula Abdul thought “American Idol” would cry over her for long, she was wrong. Victoria Beckham is set to take over Abdul’s position on a permanent basis for a reported $5.5 million.
The former Spice Girl has filled in for two guest appearances and producers are impressed enough to offer her the fourth seat.
But producers want to make sure the British star connects with the U.S. public. They’re worried that her accent and alien-esque skinny frame will keep middle America from connecting with her.
“‘American Idol’ is the highest rated show and they don’t want to pick a judge viewers don’t take to. Focus groups are going to be set up to judge Victoria’s performance,” said a source.
“There’s some concern about whether viewers will think she’s too skinny. They’re also worried about her accent. She’s started to talk in a very posh voice and some people might struggle with that.”
There are a few folks in the running if she can’t eat a few sandwiches. Mary J. Blige and Katy Perry are also being considered.
It was recently claimed Victoria had “facial expression” lessons before making her debut on “American Idol.”
A source said: “Victoria knows she has a very thick British accent and is sometimes misunderstood in America. She wanted to come across the best she could on ‘American Idol’, so she took some private lessons on how to properly pronounce words and how to make appropriate facial expressions.”

And the plot thickens in the death of David Carradine. As if death by autoerotic asphyxiation isn’t bad enough, a producer friend of the late actor now claims that the “Kill Bill” star was murdered by gender-bender hookers.
Carradine’s naked body was found bound and hanging in a closet in a Bangkok, Thailand hotel room on June 4. Suicide was ruled out by an independent autopsy, but foul play has not.
Now David Winters, who produced three martial arts movies for Carradine, claims the actor fell victim to some of Bangkok’s Lady Boys and that police are trying to cover it up.
“David Carradine was murdered… I strongly believe Lady Boys are responsible. Lady Boys operate in pairs. David would not have stood a chance. They can be very brutal,” he told the American Globe.
Winters is now calling for Bangkok authorities to release hotel surveillance video, which may provide clues as to who Carradine spent his final hours with.
“I want to see those tapes. My suspicion is they’ve already been doctored,” he said. The Globe has hired a retired FBI agent to look into the case and he agrees with Winters’ murder theory.
Ted Gunderson said, “I believe he (Carradine) met two Lady Boys in the hotel bar… They are flirtatious, desperate for money and would have zeroed in on a celebrity like Carradine.”
Gunderson believes the hookers drugged Carradine, hanged him and then tried to stage a suicide.
Like Winters, Gunderson insists a reported mystery footprint on Carradine’s bed is the biggest clue in the case.
“One of the Lady Boys may have stepped behind him, looped a length of rope around Carradine’s neck and strangled him,” he said.
I’m not sure who’s surprised by this. Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel have split.
“After nearly five years of marriage Billy Joel & Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate,” a rep for the couple said. Quick side note - I went to college with Katie and the idea that she’s married to Billy Joel has always been a little surreal. Also, he’s old enough to be her father and then some.

A judge has officially given Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, legal custody of his kids.
