Vanessa Hudgens not planning to be an early bride

vanzacPlenty of teenage girls are willing to say I do, but Vanessa Hugdens doesn’t want to marry Zac Efron.

The 20-year-old actress has been dating her “High School Musical” co-star for about three years, but she says she has plenty to do before she settles down.

“I think marriage and starting a family is great, but I’m so focused on my career right now that it doesn’t really cross my mind,” said Hudgens, who hopes to move on to “edgier” roles (what teen star isn’t? Though her nude photos might help that transition right along…)

“The fact that kids look up to me is flattering. But at the end of the day, I want to do R-rated films, and I want to do things that are a bit edgier, so maybe some kids can’t see some of them,” said Hudgens.

“I just think it’s really important to try different things. I think a lot of people get stuck doing the same routine, and I’m just not content with that. I love trying new things and doing new hobbies and just exploring life.”

In her newest movie, “Sucker Punch,” Hudgens does find the edge. She plays a girl who ends up in a mental institution after being abused by her stepfather. No dance routines in that one, I guess.
