It’s pricey to make Jessica Simpson pretty. The singer/actress is reportedly spending $25,000 for personal stylists for each episode of her new reality show.
“The Price of Beauty” involves Simpson traveling the world to find out what beauty is and she plans to look good while doing it.
“To get her camera-ready each episode will cost $25,000,” said a source. “She insists on using her own hair, make-up and fashion stylists, who are more expensive than J.Lo’s.”
The series will air on VH1 and the source claims they’re furious with the budget.
An official rep, however, refused to comment.
Simpson’s spokesperson claims there is no controversy.
Rep Cindi Berger said: “A budget was approved when the deal was made. All parties were satisfied.”
