Marc Anthony buys a stake in the Dolphins

anthonyAs one of those little people out there struggling to make ends meet, I’m trying not to get pissed at all the things the rich and famous can and do buy, since I’d probably finance a “Moonlight” movie if I had the money.

So I’ll just congratulate Marc Anthony on his investment as a minority owner in the Miami Dolphins.

Jennifer Lopez’s husband struck a deal with Stephen Ross, the New York-based real estate entrepreneur who bought a 95 percent stake in the Dolphins franchise in January. Ross hopes to rebrand the team and said he wants to fill up the stands with “a blend of entertainment and winning football,” according to the Associated Press.

Anthony will also perform the national anthem on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” on Oct. 12 against the New York Jets as part of the NFL’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
