Linday Lohan has sticky fingers?

lohan1Ew. No, not for that reason. The sometime actress and general party girl is at the center of a London police investigation in connection with the theft of jewelery from a magazine photo shoot.

She posed for an Elle spread with gems on loan for the event and kept asking about them, then allegedly left with the $45,000 baubles.

An insider told HolyMoly.com, “She kept going on about the jewels, asking if she could have them. We all thought she was joking.”

The jewelers realized they were missing after the shoot and contacted magazine bosses, who claimed no knowledge of their whereabouts.

The editors and jewelers then spent two weeks trying to get a response from Lohan, but she reportedly left the U.K. last week without getting back to them.

Now the police are looking into it. Lohan has been known to have sticky fingers at her shoots before. Louis Vuitton bosses reportedly refuse to deal with her anymore after she repeatedly swiped stuff from their shoots, and last year she took home a $11,000 mink, belonging to a Russian student, from a New York club.

The coat’s rightful owner, Masha Markova, claimed Lohan took her coat, a gift from her grandmother, as she left a private party. The student spotted Lohan wearing it in a magazine photo and, after she threatened legal action and went to the media, Lohan finally returned the fur.

Hopefully the Brits will have better luck.
