Kevin Spacey goes for drugs over politicians

74177850EA006_Gotham_MagaziSince I’m currently pissed at politicians looking to close my damned libraries (come on, kids, it’s like puppies and babies, this is easy - leave the libraries be), I’d have to agree with Kevin Spacey. The actor said he would rather be a drug addict than a politician.

Spacey, a good friend of former U.S. President Bill Clinton, denies being interested in political office.

He told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “I would never ever think about going into politics.

“I would rather become a crack addict. I think you can be just as effective in public service.”

Among his reasons are a love of Great Britain. He’s lived in London for seven years and is considering applying for dual citizenship.

“I love living in London. I can say with all sincerity that London is my home,” he said.

“I was in New York before. It is a great city but my focus for the next six years will be in Britain.

“I will never renounce being American but there is a part of me that is British now. I may go for that dual citizenship, who knows.”
