Kristen Bell’s ‘Veronica Mars’ battle cry

kristen_bellVeronica Mars, fans, unite! Kristen Bell is calling on fans to voice their support if they want to see the former CW series back again on the big screen.

Bell tweeted the need for fans to hit up Warner Brothers executives with calls and emails in support of the show’s creator Rob Thomas plans for a movie version.

“Vm movie fans – Rob (Thomas) and I took it to WB (Warner Brothers) – and they said, ‘There is no enthusiasm’ to make it. So fans have to convince WB! Rob and I are in!

“I’ve told ‘em I want to so bad – I think they don’t think it will make any money so they want to be sure people will see it. Big business. Ugh.

“My guess would be the best route is anywhere Warner Brothers asks 4 (sic) feedback, you guys write, ‘We want the Vm movie.’”

She’s even willing to do a direct-to-DVD release (likely the only way it would be made).

She added, “I’d do the film if I ended up w/ the only copy & no one saw it – I’d do dvd – but I think Vm deserves some props in the theatre.”

Sigh. Time to harass the WB over yet another series I love but the Nielsen Corporation doesn’t.
