Poor Sandra Bullock. Her parents kept her dates chaperoned until she was an adult.
“I had a very strict German mother who knew for some reason - she was raised in Germany but she kind of knew - what was going on with me. I was not allowed out of the house alone in a car with a boyfriend until I turned 18. She knew. But she was also really rebellious and wild and I think she saw a little bit of that in me,” “The Proposal” star said.
Despite the strict upbringing imposed on her, Bullock claims she’s grateful to her mother as she fears she would have gone too far if she had been given more relaxed rules.
She added: “If she hadn’t kept an eye on me I don’t know what would’ve happened.”
