Hayden Panettiere’s love life began with a good game of kickball.
The ‘Heroes’ actress ended her relationship with co-star Milo Ventimiglia earlier this year but recalls her first love was with a boy who loved kickball. Unfortunately, that relationship ended when she realized he was more interested in her best friend.
“My biggest crush was in the second grade on this kid named Mike. He was really good at kickball,” she recalled. “Mike had a crush on my friend though. I was jealous, so I told her that he told me that he had a crush on both of us. So it made me feel a little bit better about the whole thing.”
Despite obsessing about Mike, the 19-year-old actress admits she was too embarrassed to ever tell him how she felt.
Hayden said: “He was such a jock, such a stud – you know, for someone in the second grade. But I think he knew. I think he was pretty aware of it.”
