A week after calling it quits with Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus is a busy, busy girl.
One source has the tween queen dating another older man, Steve Rushton, 22. He played lead guitarist in Hannah Montana’s band in “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”
The pair grew closer while promoting the film together, according to insiders for Britain’s The Sun.
“Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney,” a source said. “Miley couldn’t wait for him to move. He first met her on the set of the Hannah Montana film after he was asked to play lead guitar for her band.
“They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart they have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is still young but she is smitten with him. They are very much in love,” the source added.
Cyrus is also palling around with her ex, Nick Jonas. The couple broke up in December 2007 but rekindled a friendship earlier this year.
“He’s my best friend, and we still hang out all the time, and we’ve definitely reconnected,” Cyrus told radio station 107.5 The River in Tennessee on Friday. “We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.”
On June 9, the two went jet-skiing together on Tybee Island, where Cyrus is filming her new movie, “The Last Song.
When asked about the adventure during her 107.5 interview, Cyrus said “no comment” but did mention “I’m a jet ski demon!”
Cyrus and Jonas collaborated on the duet “Before the Storm” for the Jonas Brothers’ new album and worked on the Disney’s Friends for Change campaign. And you know what they say about close-quarters…
“We both just kind of saw each other again and kind of decided this whole thing was stupid and … we all were over the separation,” Cyrus said. “And our families are super happy that we’re hanging out again.”
