Life is imitating art. Like her “The Office” counterpart, Jenna Fischer is engaged.
The actress recently announced that her boyfriend of a year and a half, writer Lee Kirk, popped the question on June 30 while they were on vacation in Europe.
The couple has been dating for a while, but first took to the red carpet together during the last Emmy Awards, where she affectionately introduced him as “my super-cute boyfriend.”
According to People, it’s Kirk’s first time to wed, but this is Fischer’s second time down the aisle. She was married once before to director James Gunn, but the two divorced in 2007.
