Sandra Bullock is no wicked stepmother. “The Proposal” actress claims she enjoys being a stepmother to her husband Jesse James’ kids, two from his first marriage and a daughter from his second marriage.
Bullock is playing a full-time mother to his daughter, Sunny, from his second wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, who is serving a six-month jail sentence for tax evasion. She is loving her new role because it gives her a taste of what she’s missing.
“I may never hear that word ‘mom’. But being a parent is not about breeding. It’s about caring. And it’s easy to say, but it’s harder to do,” said Bullock.
“When you don’t have that title, you flounder and it hurts. But this is the best test of being a parent. And I just have to keep reminding myself I don’t care what I get. I care what I give.”
