This also brings the subject of curls.. As you can see Taylor Swift has beautiful luscious soft curls and who wouldn’t want them when they look that good? However I strongly recommend before you rush to the nearest drug store or beauty supply store. Really really make sure you are willing to live with any mistake you make on your hair. When perming the hair if possible I strongly recommend seeing a professional who can help reduce frizziness, and damage as much as possible and it does help that you won’t be killing your arms trying to roll your hair for hours (especially if you have long hair like myself!).
There can be serious damage even if your hair is in rollers for a few extra minutes. If you however decide and insist on using a home perm! Always use a timer! If you can have a friend over to help with extra hard curls, especially the strands in the very back and can overall help in general as when it comes to perms I have learned to never do it alone! I also highly recommend that you do the strand test, pay close attention to your timing and write it down!
