Here’s hoping the marriage is better than the honeymoon. Newlyweds Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were struck down with food poisoning in their first days of their honeymoon.
The couple headed to Bali for a romantic vacation after their July 12 nuptials but scrapped plans to stay on the Indonesian island after a bad meal left them incapacitated.
“We had a little honeymoon. We call it a ‘minimoon.’ We’re going to have the full moon later but I got food poisoning the first night there. That lasted two days, and she got sick on the third day,” said Tatum.
But Tatum insists the couple managed to mark their marriage with some fun, getting some ink on the last day.
“We just got tattooed to wrap it up nicely. In Balinesian (sic) it says ’side by side,’” he said.
