Brad Pitt gives up the ganja

Brad Pitt stomped out his pot smoking once he became a father because he wanted to be able to take care of his kids.

He took over the father job for Angelina Jolie’s adopted son Maddox, 7, after they started dating, and the couple adopted two more and have three biological kids of their own.

Pitt admits he used to enjoy smoking marijuana when he was younger, but is less a pothead and more a parent.

“I’m a dad now. You want to be alert and my eyes used to glaze over when I did that,” he told Bill Maher.

Pitt recently told Parade magazine the drug turned him into a “doughnut”.

Me, I just like to eat doughnuts. And brownies. And Taco Bell. Mmmm….
