While the chignon is loose, I highly recommend finding coated bobby pins to try and match your hair color (to prevent snags and hair damage plus so the pins aren’t so obvious) or even decorative clips just to make sure to hold the chignon/bun into place. Start off with wavy, or curled hair (hot rollers, blow-dryer with round brush or even an overnight braiding will do and most likely last longer) to give a more romantic feel to the overall style. Top off the style with a quality holding spray that does not give down a weighed down appearance. I recommend Garnier as their hair sprays work wonders but dont flake, or make your hair appear too stiff!
