Steven Tyler Admits Addiction To Prescription Painkillers

Steven Tyler Admits Addiction To Prescription Painkillers

Steven Tyler has just entered a rehab facility after admitting he is addicted to prescription painkillers. The 61-year-old singer told People that over the past 10 years he became addicted to pain pills after several long tours with Aerosmith. Tyler said, "With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates."

This comes in the wake of Brittany Murphy dying of a possible prescription painkiller overdose. Maybe Tyler realized he needed help or he could be next.
