Farrah Fawcett’s best friend Alana Stewart is planning to publish a memoir of hte late star based on documents she compiled while filming the final stages of Fawcett’s cancer battle.
Stewart shot much of the footage for “Farrah’s Story,” the documentary which showing the “Charlie’s Angel” star’s efforts to find new treatments in a bid to prolong her life.
The documentary was hugely successful, pulling in 8.9 million viewers for NBC when it aired in May. Now Stewart will release “My Journey With Farrah” in August.
Some of the profits raised from sales of the book will go to the Farrah Fawcett Foundation for cancer research.
The actress died of anal cancer at age 62 on June 25.
