People is reporting that the NYPD has revealed that DJ AM overdosed on OxyContin. Apparently, he had eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach and another in his mouth when he was found dead in his NYC apartment.
The NYPD source said "He wanted to die. He was going unconscious when he took the last one. He didn’t even swallow it.” There was also a crack pipe found next to his body along with a Valentine's card from his ex girlfriend Hayley Wood saying  “Thank God you’re in my life. I love you.” This coincides with earlier reports that he was distraught over the couples recent break up.
The official cause of death will be announced soon when the toxicology tests are completed.
