The NY Post is reporting that Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton pulled guns on each other during a Christmas Eve locker room argument over a gambling debt.
Apparently, Crittenton became angry when Arenas refused to pay up on a gambling debt and Arenas grabbed a gun as a result. Crittenten then grabbed his own gun and pointed it back at Arenas. "This is unprecedented in the history of sports. I've never heard of players pulling guns on each other in a locker room." Billy Hunter, executive director of the Player's Association said. The Metropolitan Police Department is now investigating the claim and a report that Arenas was storing firearms in a container in his locker at the Verizon Center.
Readers, are you surprised these NBA stars got so heated they drew guns on each other?
