TMZ is reporting that there has been an arrest in the Erin Andrews peephole video case.
48-year-old Michael David Barrett was arrested at Chicago O'Hare International Airport last night on charges that he ssecretly videotaped the ESPN reporter naked while in the privacy of several hotel rooms. The FBI says Barrett stalked Andrews "with the intent to harass, to place under surveillance with intent to harass and intimidate, and to cause substantial emotional distress to a person in another state. Apparently, Barrett contacted the hotels where she was staying and requested her room number, then hacked off the peepholes and inserted a tiny camera.
No word yet on how he got past the hotel staff to insert the video cameras. Readers, do you think Erin can finally put this incident past her?
