Actor Ashton Kutcher is aware that his appeal isn’t necessarily universal or endless. He’s saving all the money from his multi-million dollar movies because he is worried his career could end at any time.
Kutcher, who is married to sugar mama Demi Moore, claims he never wastes his salary on extravagant purchases. Except for the trips abroad. And the fancy wardrobes. And the mansions. You know, other than that stuff.
He told New York Post columnist Cindy Adams, “You never know what happens in this business. What we do for a living is nonsense. It’s entertainment… I still haven’t bought myself anything special with my earnings. I can’t even think what I’ve treated myself to.
“Actually, I haven’t spent anything. I’ve kept it all. Except I gave some to my stepdad, who drives needy kids wherever they have to go.”
His popularity is down with his co-star, actress Mila Kunis. She starred with Kutcher in “That 70s Show” and winces every time an interviewer asks her about Kutcher because she hasn’t worked with him in years.
“Yesterday, a woman asked me, ‘So! Was Ashton a prankster on set?’ I went, ‘Oh my God. For real?’ That’s when I know the interview’s going sour – when they ask me what it was like kissing Kutcher. The show’s been off the air for four years. It’s just no longer cute or funny,” she said.
