Fame isn’t as fun as Susan Boyle might have thought. Not long after being hospitalized for four days for exhaustion (Hollywood speak for a breakdown/rehab), the “Britain’s Got Talent” sensation has been forced to pull out of the show’s tour.
The powers that be convinced her to take a rest over fears she’ll have another breakdown.
Boyle performed on the first two dates of the tour in Birmingham on Friday and Sheffield on Saturday and two more shows were scheduled at Manchester’s MEN Arena but was instead taken to a secret London location.
A tour spokesman said: “Susan has been advised to rest. She sends sincere apologies to her fans for not appearing at Manchester’s MEN Arena.”
She’s determined to be back in action by the time the tour rolls around to her home country of Scotland. Concerts are planned in Glasgow and Edinburgh later this summer.
A source said: “She is determined to return for at least one of her Scottish gigs - her life revolves around singing.
“She has been reassured her health and happiness are top priorities.”
