Kelly Osbourne talks long road to recovery

Rock and roll heiress Kelly Osbourne became addicted to Vicodin by the young age of 17.

She first got access to the powerful drug when she had her tonsils taken out at 13.

About three years later she was offered it in pill form and was soon taking up to 50 tablets a day because it gave her the confidence to cope with the new-found fame she had due to appearing in MTV show “The Osbournes” and helped her cope with her mother Sharon’s cancer battle. Osbourne ultimately headed to rehab four times.

In her new book “Fierce by Kelly Osbourne”, she revealed: “By this point I was waking up and emptying six Vicodin into my hand. Soon I was taking 50 pills a day. Most people would overdose on 10. My friends called me ‘Noddy’ because I fell asleep all the time.

“My parents suspected. Mum would say, ‘Darling, are you taking something? Please tell your mummy.’ But I was good at lying.”

Her lies were ultimately discovered and her parents sent her to Malibu’s Promises clinic.

Although she spent 30 days there receiving treatment, Osbourne admits she wasn’t ready to beat her addiction and it took three more stints in different rehab centers. During the last round, she finally realized she had a serious problem.

“After 30 days, I left rehab. For the first time, I felt hopeful. I knew I’d been given another chance at my life, at my career, at happiness. I wanted to grab it,” she said.

Kate Gosselin and TLC have fired back at disgruntled father Jon Gosselin! Jon recently had his layer halt filming for their reality show after he was fired and even put a sign up at their home that forbids TLC from filming. Now, Kate has slammed Jon in a statement.

"I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements. Jon hasnever expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved inthe show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the showbenefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids. I checkin regularly with each of the kids to be sure they want to participatein and continue with the show and will continue to do so. I do the showfor my family because I believe it provides us opportunities wewouldn't otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until asrecently as the day the network announced the name change of the showand indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appearsthat Jon's priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains ourchildren and their well being."

Bridget Moynahan Hates Gisele Bundchen

Bridget Moynahan seems to be waiving the white flag in surrender over her battle with Gisele Bundchen.... well sorta!

The two seem to send nasty comments back and forth via the rumor mill and who's to blame them with their strange family situation. Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan share a son, John, now 2 years old and ex lover status. Gisele Bundchen is the current leading lady (and wife) in Brady's life and is now pregnant with his first child. Gisele tends to go a bit overboard when describing her relationship with baby John, referring to herself as John's "adoptive mother." In return Moynahan and crew makes it a point to call out Gisele saying, “discretion and respect are not either of Gisele or Tom’s virtues”.

With that said Moynahan was spotted at Wonderland baby store in Brentwood, CA on July 2 buying Gisele's unborn child a little something. But don't think she was all smiles, she was overheard irritably asking, “What do you buy your ex’s pregnant new wife?” and settled on a $20 neutral colored outfit! Store clerks event say she acted like her $20 purchase was too much.

Miley Cyrus Stalker Freed From Jail!

Disney is not taking any chances when it comes to their teen star Miley Cyrus' safety! They have asked the LAPD to watch out for Miley when she's back in LA because her stalker, 52 year old Mark McLeod, has been released from jail do to overcrowding.

McLeod was arrested for disorderly conduct near the set of Miley's new flick 'The Last Song' on June 22nd. McLeod was apparently making inappropriate comments to several young fans standing around him at the Tybee Island, Georgia set and claiming that he and Miley were meant to be together.

He told police, "nobody will ever be able to keep us apart" adding that he and Miley made eye contact years ago, and they fell in love! He claims that he was "great friends with Miley," and that the teen star "told him to come see her today." TMZ reports that police sources said that McLeod claimed Cyrus put out "secret messages" on her 'Hannah Montana' show directed only to him.

McLeod was also interviewed back in March by the New York Daily News at a Cyrus book signing saying, "I'm a little nervous. This is the first time I've ever been face to face with her,” he said. Watch the creepy video below!

Steve McNair's other woman has been exposed! Leah Ignagni has been named as the third woman involved in McNair's life just before his tragically murdered by girlfriend Sahel Kazemi.

CBS dug up these photo's of Ignagni and say that Nashville police named Ignagni in a recent case release. Apparently, Kazemi knew that McNair had a wife and another woman on the side (Ignagni) and even followed her home one night. Luckily, Kazemi didn't become violent towards Ignagni but that might have been what pushed her to murder McNair and kill herself. According the other reports, she was very jealous of any other women in McNair's life.

Hayden Panettiere single again

Hayden Panettiere has reportedly dumped her boyfriend, Steve Jones. The “Heroes” actress hooked up with Jones, a British TV presenter, this summer. They were spotted in London and headed to the Cannes film festival in France last month.

The long-distance relationship has proven too much however.

“I’m single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much,” she told the Daily Mirror. “I’m not dating anyone specifically and I’m not looking for a house with anyone.

“Cannes was a great experience. I was on vacation and some friends were going so I decided to come along. It was fun.”

The 19-year-old actress also discussed her father’s arrest in September last year for allegedly hitting his wife, Lesley, on her cheek. Panettiere insists the case was a “big misunderstanding”.

“It’s hard enough going through it personally within your family, let alone when the entire world knows about it,” she explained. “It put my dad in this light that is so not him. You know your mind goes to, ‘He abuses, he beats his wife.’ For my dad to have that reputation now – which is so not who he is – kills me.”

Jeff Bridges pimps ‘Tron Legacy’

Jeff Bridges is coming back to “Tron” and this time it’s going to be sweet, sweet for the eyes, that is.

The actor is starring in “Tron Legacy,” the sequel to the 1980s cult classic. Bridges says fans won’t be disappointed by the special effects.

“It’s advanced. It’s more advanced, you know? Back in those days we had no personal computers, no internet. And of course today we have all that. It was cutting edge back in those days, and this new ‘Tron’ is going to be cutting edge for today,” said Bridges.

“There’s a lot more eye candy than the first one, it’s going to be just wonderful to see all of these effects and everything. ”

Despite the techno-friendly theme, Bridges doesn’t think the film overuses computer-generated imagery or other digital effects.

“Funnier enough, we have a lot more practical sets in this version. There is a lot of blue screen and that sort of thing, but there’s also practical sets. The idea is to the audience be able to tell which is CGI and which is the real set,” he said.

“I think Joe Kosinski the director did a wonderful job of building actual practical sets and then using live action. There’s a lot of wonderful athletes that were involved in our movie doing these great stunts. It’s not just a cartoon person doing it, it’s real people and that gives it a different kind of quality than other 3-D, CGI movies.”

Cops Let Dennis Quaid Go After DUI

Dennis Quaid got off lucky last night and has the LAPD to thank. Quaid and wife Kimberly were out partying at Phillipe Chow in LA but got a little out of control. When they left, Quaid jumped into the drivers seat and a cop pulled alongside him before he could leave the parking lot. Quaid quickly announced he was only parking the car and ran back into the restaurant to call a cab! The cab came and Quaid got away without getting a DUI.
